Durham said: Ive heard the quotes after from Edgar Davids, and Ruud Gullit as well, really questioning the quality in the Spurs midfield. They openly talked about Dele Alli as well.I want Dele Alli to do well but I thought he was really poor last night. When you get into the semi-final of a Champions League you are going to have really good opponents and Ajax are very good. You have to come up with an answer. When you are 1-0 down at home you have to come up with an answer. You need your better players to step up and do something a little bit more special than theyve done before.Dele Alli didnt do it, Christian Eriksen didnt do it, Kieran Trippier was awful. Alright there are a couple of players out for Spurs and they are thinking Son is the saviour.Theres a lot of pressure on Son to rescue them in the Champions League.

Co-presenter Darren Gough believes Tottenham are by no means out of the tie and have to take their chances when they come.Gough said: The reason I said they were underdogs in this semi-final was because they are missing their two best goalscorers, firstly. They are missing Kane, who scores vital goals in any competition and they are missing Son who has stepped up to the mark and scored goals this season. They are two massive losses for Tottenham if you consider the pace and movement of Son compared to Llorente. Yes he holds the ball up well and you are hoping for Eriksen to come and get the second ball or Dele Alli or Lucas Moura.Their tactics had to totally change from Son, who can run at defenders or run into space and make space for everyone else coming in behind him.Two totally different players, Son and Llorente, it was a massive loss for Spurs but Ajax were the best side by a mile in the first half. I totally agree with everybody on it.But in the second half, Tottenham, if it wasnt for the final ball, had plenty of opportunities but they didnt finish them. They are not out of this competition whatsoever.
