But perhaps what was so unique about this season was the quality and consistency of goals throughout the league.Like a heavyweight with a power punch, teams had the ability to pull something special out of the bag at seemingly any moment to transform games at the drop of the hat.For instance, Liverpool were outplayed by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge until Daniel Sturridge found the top corner from 30 yards.And who could forget Andros Townsend’s scorching volley which flew past Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson at an obscene rate of knots?getty5
