The LaLiga champions are understood to be ready to pay Griezmann’s 120million buyout clause, though there remains interest in the World Cup winner from Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-German and Manchester United.Manchester City were also linked with Griezmann earlier this week, with Pep Guardiola, the club’s manager, hoping to further improve his already superb side.Despite claiming successive Premier League titles, Guardiola has failed to fulfil the City hierarchy’s greatest desire – winning the Champions League.
