The Ligue 1 champions had led 2-0, but Rennes twice drew level, before winning 6-5 on penalties, meaning a side other than PSG won the competition for the first time since 2014.After the game, Neymar was seen lashing out at a supporter who filmed PSG players as they made their way up the steps at the Stade de France to collect their runners-up medals and he now faces a multiple-match ban.“I did not like it, I did not like it at all,” said Tuchel. “It is not possible to do this sort of thing. “Defeat is not easy to accept, but you must show respect. You cannot do that.”However, Tuchel also added: “What I will say is that there are some players who love to win, and others who hate to lose.”The cup final controversy comes a day after Neymar was handed a three-match Champions League ban by UEFA.Neymar, who was making his first start since January following a serious foot injury, came out in defence of himself on social media.“Did I act badly?” Neymar asked in an Instagram comment. “Yes. But no-one can stay indifferent.”In a separate post on Sunday, he wrote “nobody likes to lose, so I …” before failing to finish the sentence.He added: “Anyone who knows me knows how competitive I am and how much defeat shakes me.“But losing is part of an athlete’s life, makes us grow, makes us think, makes us better. Happy to be able to play again, to score again and feel good on the pitch, but the biggest feeling today is one of sadness.”
