Liverpool fans have had to wait a long time to see their next big hope for the future earn his senior debut but it looks like the wait is finally over.Rhian Brewster is in line to feature in Liverpool’s Champions League semi-final second leg match against Barcelona at Anfield tonight.

Before he signed for Liverpool, it’s understood Brewster was considering following in the likes of Jadon Sancho’s footsteps and try his hand in the Bundesliga.Borussia Monchengladbach were rumoured to be very keen on Brewster so much so that Liverpool even cancelled a pre-season friendly they were due to play against the German side that summer as the Premier League club felt Brewster was being tapped up.

Brewster has represented England at youth level but his international career is up for grabs.His mother is a Turkish Cypriot making him eligible for Turkey or Cyprus and his father is from Barbados.However, it’s likely his future lies with the Three Lions.
